Hooded man performed sex act at open window of his Dundee flat in front of woman

A hooded Dundee serial pervert performed a sex act at his open window in front of a passing woman, a court heard.

Jamie Mullen, who was kicked out of the Armed Forces after being jailed for possessing child abuse images in 2006, was seen naked from the waist down with a hood covering his face by the “distressed” passer-by.

Mullen, who the court heard is assessed by police as a high risk of serious harm to others and is already on the sex offenders register until 2021, was also caught with indecent pictures of children when police raided his Cowgate flat last summer.

Sheriff Alastair Carmichael continued Mullen’s bail and deferred sentence until August 31.
