Veni, vidi, vici! Broughty Ferry’s Borgotaro named best Italian restaurant at Food Awards Scotland

Diners looking for Scotland’s finest pasta and pizza have been urged to make their way to Broughty Ferry.
Judges at the Food Awards Scotland last night named the Fort Hotel’s Borgotaro venture as the best Italian Restaurant in Scotland.
It’s a relatively new addition to Dundee’s food scene and recognition of the hard work that has been put in by owner John Black and his team.
Borgotaro scored 40/50 in The Courier’s own restaurant reviews earlier this year, with our diner commenting: “Service throughout was exemplary and nothing was too much trouble for the two cheerful waitresses … Borgotaro can be seen as a creditable addition to the already-vibrant restaurant scene in Broughty Ferry.”
