Dundee pub Braes shapes up for the digital generation

One of Dundee’s busiest bars has reopened following a major £250,000 revamp and customers will be in charge of the jukebox.

The Braes, on Perth Road, has been extensively re-designed in a bid to capture trendy West End revellers, students and workers.

Broadband connections, phone chargers, plug sockets and USB ports have been included in the high-tech renovation as well as free use of printing services.

Among the technology-friendly features is a system that allows customers to select the music in the bar direct from their own mobile phone.
