It’s understood the woman’s vehicle left the road shortly after 11.30am and came to rest in a field near to the Pear Tree Restaurant. Police officers were swiftly on the scene and called for assistance from Scottish Fire and Rescue, with the car’s doors apparently jammed. The occupants were, however, released prior to their arrival and the three occupants handed into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service. A spokesman said the two young passengers had escaped unscathed, while the woman is being treated for apparently minor injuries.
