Memorial service to celebrate the life of Professor Charles McKean

Church bells will ring out across the city centre on Saturday for a memorial service to celebrate the life and work of Professor Charles McKean.

The emeritus professor of Scottish architectural history at Dundee University died in September. The service will be held at Dundee Parish Church (St Mary’s) at noon and all are welcome to attend.

University vice-principal Professor Chris Whatley said: “He was a unique individual and genuinely inspirational.”
