Vicious teen trio stamped on victim before stealing his mobile

A teenage trio punched, kicked and stamped on a man’s head and stole his phone, Dundee Sheriff Court heard.

Scott McLeod Wheeler, 19, of Fullarton Street, and Warren Ellis Ian Valentine, 19, of Spey Drive, pleaded guilty to assault by repeatedly punching their victim on the head, kicking him and stamping on him during the vicious attack in Rose Lane.

Dylan John Reid, 19, of Balmoral Terrace, pleaded guilty to stealing the man’s phone during the attack.

Reid committed the offence while he was already on bail from Dundee Sheriff Court.

Sentence was deferred until Tuesday for a narration of the circumstances of the assault.
