ByThe Courier Reporter
A 35-year-old man accused of stealing a defibrillator from a Dundee ambulance has been remanded in custody.
Prosecutors allege that Kevin McGuigan culpably and recklessly stole the device from ambulance staff in Nethergate on Friday “to the danger of patients in need of said piece of medical equipment”.
McGuigan, of Wyndford Road, Glasgow, is also accused of behaving in a threatening and abusive manner and failing to provide his name and address to a police officer on the same date.
McGuigan made no plea or declaration during a short appearance in private at Dundee Sheriff Court yesterday.
The case is expected to call again next week.
