The search continues for a man who was seen in the Tay on Saturday.
A coastguard helicopter, several lifeboat units and Tayside police were involved in the search.
Police identified him and said next of kin have been informed.
The bridge was briefly closed on Saturday morning.
Onlookers described a systematic and thorough search of the Tay upstream from the bridge.
A coastguard spokesperson confirmed they were no longer involved in the search.
A Police Scotland statement read: “Police Scotland along with other emergency services attended Tay Road Bridge in Dundee at 10.30am on Saturday 30 May after reports of concern for a man.
“Enquiries are still ongoing to trace the man.
“The identity of the man has been established and next of kin have been made aware.”
