Detective Inspector Paul Riley, who is leading Tayside Division’s CID pro-active team, previously talked about the aims of Operation Slate.
He said: “You have told us that drug-related crime is a concern and we listen to our communities throughout Tayside.
“Tackling drugs is one of our top priorities and the action taken today demonstrates our commitment to dealing with this issue.
“There will be no let up and we will continue to work with partners, elected members and communities themselves to deter this activity, taking action to ensure that drugs are taken off our streets and those that are involved in drug supply are arrested and charged.”
