Fears grow for vulnerable man reported missing in Dundee

Police have “significant concerns for the wellbeing” of vulnerable man John Kenny who was reported missing from his home at Ellen Mhor, 2-4 Ellen Street, Dundee.

Mr Kenny, who is 5ft 7in, was last seen at about 6.30 on Monday night within Ellen Mhor but was later reported missing. He is of slim build, with shaved greying hair and wears glasses and has some stubble.

When last seen he was wearing a shirt and tie, a dark jumper, black trousers, black shoes and is likely to have a dark jacket.

Police say Mr Kenny has recently moved to Dundee and is not expected to know the area or anyone in the city.

A spokesperson said: “He is described as being an excellent communicator and has a strong Glaswegian accent. This might mask the fact he is vulnerable due to identified health issues.”

Police are extremely concerned for his safety and ask anyone with information to contact them.
