A 19-year-old man has been detained by police following a three-hour rooftop stand-off with officers this morning. Police were called to Cobden Court at around 7.25am following reports of concerns for a male on a rooftop in the quiet cul-de-sac. Officers were joined by Scottish Fire and Rescue personnel at around 8.15am who were called to assist in the incident. After protracted negotiations with the man, he was detained at around 10.30am and taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment. A police spokeswoman said inquiries into the incident were ongoing.
