In the first phase, due to get under way next week, only one lane on each carriageway of North Marketgait will be open. Later, first the westbound carriageway and then the eastbound will be completely closed for around 10 days each, with signed diversions in place. A Scotland Gas Networks spokeswoman said the work is essential.
