A Dundee man was robbed by two attackers who followed him then chased him before assaulting him.
Police in Dundee say the 56-year-old man had his wallet stolen by two thieves in Hindmarsh Avenue on Saturday night. The man was walking in Clepington Road at about 9.50 when he saw two men standing at a bus stop nearby.
He was aware of them again when it became clear they had followed him, before making a grab for him in Hindmarsh Avenue.
At first he escaped their clutches but they got a hold of him again, pulled him to the ground and stole his wallet, which contained a two-figure sum.
His assailants then ran off, back towards Clepington Road, leaving him distressed but not seriously hurt. Both men are in their mid to late thirties, about 5ft 9in and stocky.
One wore dark clothing, the other a light-brown top. Anyone who knows who these men are or who can assist with inquiries should call police on 101 or speak to any officer.
