A teenager has been rushed to hospital after being found lying injured in the street in Dundee in the early hours of this morning.
Police and paramedics were called to Caird Avenue at about 6.35.
The 17-year-old was taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital, where he is understood to be in a serious condition.
A police spokesman said: “The area where he was found has been cordoned off to allow a thorough examination to be carried out and officers will be carrying out door-to-door inquiries during the course of the morning.”
