A teenage girl suffered head injuries in a day of Easter break road chaos in Dundee that saw three accidents in a matter of hours.
Broughty Ferry was brought to a standstill following an incident at 4.05pm where the 19-year-old girl was badly injured in a collision with a bus.
Emergency services closed off thescene outside the Post Office Barfor around an hour, with the woman rushed by ambulance to NinewellsHospital.
A second incident only a few metres away on Brook Street at around 2.45pm saw a 98-year-old woman knocked over by a slowly reversing vehicle.
Despite being shaken, she was stillconscious and breathing when emergency services attended.
The incident resulted in the road being blocked for a short period of time while the woman was treated by paramedics.
Earlier in the day, police attended a third call at Myrekirk roundabout on the Kingsway when a motorcyclist on a black Kawasaki was involved in a collision with a Nissan Qashqai.
The biker suffered injuries to their head and leg and was taken to hospital.
The three incidents came as partof a busy day on the sun-kissed roadsof Tayside and Fife that saw tailbacks bat the West Sands in St Andrews andlong queues on the Forth RoadBridge.
