The damage to the fifth green was discovered at around 7am on Monday. One golfer at the course said it looked as if a vehicle had been driven “around and around in circles” over the green. He said: “It’s a bit of a mess. They have left deep chunks on the green.” The course is due to host the launch of Golf Dundee a major new initiative to promotoe the game in the city on Thursday.
