Porters at Dundee’s Ninewells Hospital will today stage the first in a series of half-day stoppages.
Protests will begin at 1pm, with staff walking out midway through their shifts.
They will then march to a rally where they will be addressed by Unite union bosses.

NHS Tayside denies the claim and is urging staff to resist the call to strike.
It has pledged that steps will be taken to ensure that no patient services suffer as a result of the industrial action.
The strikes will continue on Mondays and Fridays over the next fortnight.
