Snake reported missing in Broughty Ferry found in owner’s home

A missing snake that sparked a frantic search in Broughty Ferry has been found in the owner’s house.
Police issued an appeal to trace the nine-foot creature on Tuesday.
Officers later confirmed that it had been discovered in the home in Portree Avenue.
The appeal caused a stir on social media with the police Facebook post being shared over 1,300 times.
A post of the Tayside Police Division Facebook page read: “Police Scotland is pleased to say that the pet snake has been found safe at the owner’s home address.
“Thank you for sharing on your pages.”
