HIAL eyeing growth despite huge fall in Dundee passenger numbers
ByThe Courier Reporter
Dundee Airport operator HIAL has repeated its assurance that it is continuing efforts to find “new opportunities for growth” across its portfolio of 11 locations throughout Scotland.
Latest passenger figures for the Riverside base revealed a 53.6% fall in the number of customers during September compared to the previous year a figure equivalent to previous monthly updates following the withdrawal of connection to Birmingham and Belfast late last year.
The company saw another overall increase in passengers, thanks largely to strong growth at Inverness, Sumburgh and Wick.
