The funeral of Dundee dancer Bob Barty will take place on Wednesday.
Bob taught disco and ballroom dancing along with his wife Betty for more than half-a-century and turned professional in 1959 after winning the North of Scotland Championships.
He died at the age of 86 earlier this month.
The couple taught dancing at the Star Ballroom in Lochee and gained nationwide recognition for their dedication.
Valentine’s Day would have been the couple’s 63rd wedding anniversary.
Betty described him as an “inspirational person”.
Bob’s funeral will take place at St Mary Magdalene’s Church at 11.30am, moving on to Balgay Cemetery at 12.30pm.
