A man accused of murdering Dundee woman Katy Rourke stabbed her after she resisted his demands for sex, court papers allege.
Gary Stevenson, 26, made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody after being accused of killing Ms Rourke.
Court papers claim Stevenson “did detain her against her will and demand she engage in sexual intercourse”.
They further allege that “upon refusal” Stevenson did “repeatedly stab and slash her on the body with a knife or similar implement and did murder her”.
The offences are said to have taken place in a property on Minto Street in the Govan area of Glasgow.
