Police have made 15 arrests after carrying out a series of drug raids across Dundee.
Thousands of pounds worth of heroin, cocaine, cannabis and amphetamine have also been seized.
Area commander Chief Inspector Gary Ogilvie vowed there would be further action as officers work to limit the amount of drugs available for sale in the city.
At least 10 properties were targeted in areas including Craigiebank, Maryfield and Linlathen as part of Operation Slate, with drugs cash also seized.
“Dealing with this type of crime is always at the forefront of the police in Dundee and Tayside’s day-to-day work,” Chief Inspector Ogilvie said.
“Intelligence-led investigations into drug-related crime in the city have, however, resulted in a concentrated focus on drug raids over the last few weeks.
“We have averaged up to two raids a day and these have been fairly successful in terms of recovery and the number of arrests made.
“Officers have been able to hit properties at the right time, when those committing the crime are at home and in possession of drugs they are looking to sell throughout the city.”
In addition to staging raids as a result of local intelligence, officers have also been working closely with forces across Scotland and the rest of the UK to tackle “top end” drug criminality.
“We are aware of organised crime gangs from England who have branches of their illegal drugs business in Scotland, including Dundee,” Mr Ogilvie said.
Chief Superintendent Eddie Smith praised the work of the police in Dundee and said officers are well on their way to seizing more drugs than during the previous 12 months.
He said: “We have had some fantastic results, with some significant seizures made. Drug dealing and drug possession is a local priority for us. Our local area commanders and DCIs are very much focused on carrying out as much activity as they possibly can.”
