Dundee High School pupils are cheering on their rugby team as they aim for glory in a national competition.
The squad travel to Murrayfield next week for their first appearance in nine years in the final of the Scottish Schools Cup.
They are up against Edinburgh’s George Watson’s College and are hoping to become the first team from outside the capital to lift the trophy since 2007.
The school’s director of sport Alan Campbell said: “The level of support we have received has been fantastic and we hope as many colleagues, pupils, parents and FPs as possible come to the match..embed-container { position: relative; padding-bottom: 56.25%; padding-top: 30px; height: 0; overflow: hidden; max-width: 100%; height: auto; } .embed-container iframe, .embed-container object, .embed-container embed { position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%; }

“We hope to give them something to cheer about, but we are under no misapprehension. It’s going to be really tough as George Watson’s are a very good side.”
Rector Dr John Halliday said: “It’s wonderful to see the whole school getting right behind the squad.”
A video made by pupils at the school showing teachers and international rugby stars wishing the DHS team well has already been watched thousands of times as excitement builds ahead of the final.
