Three men have been arrested as part of an inquiry into incidents in Douglas last week.

Police said a 21-year-old man appeared at Dundee Sheriff Court on Wednesday after he was arrested in Edinburgh by Tayside Division officers with support from colleagues in the capital.

Officers later confirmed that another two men aged 22 and 21 were arrested in Dundee on Wednesday afternoon and are expected in court on Thursday.

It follows incidents in Balbeggie Street in Dundee last Wednesday when the windows of a house and a car were damaged.

There has been a highly visible police presence in the area since then.
