The tragedy happened on the westbound lanes of the A90 at around 9.20pm on Friday. Police say the boy was on foot when he was struck by a blue Ford C Max. The road was closed westbound into Saturday morning as police inspected the scene. No other vehicles were involved and no one else was injured. Police have appealed to anyone who may have witnessed the accident to contact them on 101. * UPDATE: Mum mourns her ‘gift from above’
