National Express Dundee has promised to continue its recruitment campaign after welcoming its latest batch of drivers.
The company is aiming to fill vacancies and is in the process of training new recruits, seven of whom have passed the driving test which awards them a licence to carry passengers.
Each new employee spends around six weeks being trained in driving, road theory, health and safety, incident awareness and customer service.
They are also given a mentor who will continue to give instruction on routes and procedures.
Assistant operations manager James Jaye said: “We will always welcome applications from people who are keen to work with us, but just having an interest in buses or driving is not enough.
“We are looking for people who want to deliver an excellent quality of service to meet the expectations of our customers.”
National Express Dundee employs around 350 people. It was forced to cancel hundreds of services in December when drivers refused to work overtime in a dispute over staff shortages, sackings and suspensions of colleagues.
