A pair of over-65s from the south coast of England are among a foursome who are accused of supplying drugs in Dundee.
Alan Roy Golding, 66, of Southsea, and Carole Ann Blissett, 68, of Bognor Regis, appeared in private over charges of supplying drugs along with two others.
It is alleged that on Friday, at an address on St Fillans Road, Dundee, all four accused were jointly concerned in the supply of class A drug cocaine.
A second charge alleges that on Friday, at an address on St Fillans Road, Dundee, all four accused were concerned in the supply of cannabis.
Also appearing on the same charges were Wendy Massie, 30, of St Fillans Road, and Kevin Craig, 39, of Balunie Crescent, both Dundee.
All four accused appeared separately and made no plea or declaration during the short hearing at Dundee Sheriff Court on Monday.
The case against them was continued for further examination and all four were granted bail.
Their appearance follows a major police presence in the St Mary’s area of the city on Saturday.
Police have carried out a number of raids across Tayside in recent months as part of the ongoing Operation Slate.
It was set up last year to tackle drug crime in Dundee and across Tayside.
The operation has so far resulted in a series of intelligence-led activities aimed at tackling the supply and production of substances in and around Dundee.
Police have also recovered hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of illegal substances and cash.
