Biker cortege escorts ‘big, gentle giant’ Bob Morrison

Scores of bikers turned out to see a popular father-of-two on his final journey.

Dundee-born civil engineer Bob Morrison, who was 48, died in a motorbike accident just east of Glencoe almost two weeks ago, leaving behind wife Diane and children Robert, 15, and Beth, 10.

He was laid to rest on Tuesday after a short service conducted by a civil celebrant at Auchterhouse Parish Church.

Mr Morrison, described by his grieving widow as a “big, gentle giant”, had been a keen biker since his teenage years and the tragedy has stunned the community and his legion of biking friends.
