Santa spreads some festive cheer in Dundee’s West End

The Christmas lights in the West End were turned on in style, accompanied by a spectacular fireworks display.

Before the official switch-on, the West End Christmas Concert was held in Dundee West Church. The concert was hosted by the Rev Andrew Greaves with musical contributions from local primary and secondary schools.

Band Unknown on Sunday also performed before the Mains of Fintry Pipe Band piped everyone from the church to Seabraes for the lights switch-on.

Santa made a special appearance to meet children and hand out sweets.
