We could be Heroes: Dundee musicians plan day-long Bowie-themed fundraiser
ByThe Courier Reporter
Dundee musicians are uniting over their love of musical legend David Bowie to raise money for Roxburghe House this weekend.
Thirteen acts will donate their time and talents for Sunday’s one-day spectacular, called Heroes, in aid of the palliative care unit.
The event, which will see 41 musicians take to the stage at the city’s Buskers music venue, is being held in honour of Bowie, who died this month following an 18-month battle with cancer.
The 13-hour Bowie-fest will kick off at 1pm and see some of the city’s finest acts covering his work, with some unique collaborations on the day.
