Food takeaway plan for former Broughty Ferry Blockbuster store
ByGrant Smith
The former Blockbuster video rental store in Claypotts Road, Broughty Ferry, could be converted into a fast food outlet.
NADMARC Ltd are seeking permission to turn the empty shop into a hot food takeaway with seating for up to 16 customers.
Their agents, RDA Architects, said: “The premises, formerly used as a video hire shop, have been vacant for some time with no apparent interest in a tenancy.
“Our client has identified the need for a hot food facility in the area, the nearest being either in Queen Street or adjacent to Sainsbury’s.”
