Dundee man found guilty of sex assaults at bingo hall

A 46-year-old man has been found guilty of sexually assaulting two women, targeting one of his victims in a Dundee city centre bingo hall.
David Dunn grabbed one of the women as she sat alone on a couch at Mecca Bingo in Nethergate, telling her she had “beautiful eyes”.
The woman told a trial that she was “frozen” with fear at the assault and “just wanted to get away.”
After the assault, Dunn went outside and grabbed another woman’s behind, telling her: “Just because you think you’re beautiful, you b***h.”
Dunn was placed on the sex offenders register and will be sentenced next month after being found guilty after a trial at Dundee Sheriff Court today.
Dunn, Milnbank Road, was found guilty of sexually assaulting a woman by engaging her in conversation, sitting beside her and placing his hand between her legs, touching her thigh over her clothing, close to her groin and putting his arm around her and touching her breast at Mecca Bingo on July 16.
He was also found guilty of sexually assaulting a woman at Nethergate on the same date by touching her buttock over her clothing.
Sheriff Gregor Murray deferred sentence until April 23.
