A Dundee teenager who brandished a metal bar at service station staff has been given a curfew while he awaits sentencing.
Ryan Simpson, 17, c/o Murdoch, Happyhillock Road, admitted shouting, swearing and threatening violence while brandishing a metal bar at Jet Service station staff on October 30.
He also admitted assaulting a man by running at him with the metal bar, using racially abusive language and smashing the windows of a bus shelter with the bar earlier on the same day.
Depute fiscal Eilidh Robertson said staff at the service station had seen Simpson hanging about but, when they asked him what he was doing, he became aggressive and produced the bar from up his sleeve.
The court heard he ran at one of the men while brandishing the bar and threatening to assault him before he ran off.
Police reviewed CCTV and discovered Simpson had smashed the windows of a bus stop just 10 minutes before the incident.
Sheriff Brown deferred sentence for reports and granted Simpson bail, ordering him not to approach the victims or enter the service station.
