A Dundee park could be in line for major improvements if funding is granted. Baxter Park is set to have its tennis courts and mosaic upgraded, as well as having new picnic benches installed. Friends of Baxter Park secretary Colin Donald said: “In 2016 we have some major hopes and expectations for the park. “The tennis courts should get upgraded at some point, with funding currently being sought by the council for a major improvement. “It’s long overdue and we’re certainly looking forward to this. “The mosaic in front of the Ranger Centre should also be getting renovated. “It’s been quite a few years since it was put in and it needs freshened up again. “If permission is granted to knock down the old pavilion we could put picnic benches there.”
