Christmas misery for Dundee salon boss as she falls victims to vandals again
ByThe Courier Reporter
A Dundee salon boss says she will be glad to see the back of 2015 after falling victim to yet another act of vandalism.
Margaret Gray, 44, and husband Wayne, 51, of Law Crescent, had their home and car targeted by vandals earlier this year.
Now their business, Jackson Gray Hair and Beauty, has been attacked, though it’s not known if the incidents are linked.
The Strathmartine Road salon was left with a cracked window, which will remain boarded up until next year and could cost the couple hundreds of pounds to repair.
Margaret said: “While we were enjoying our staff night out on Saturday night, vandals were busy attacking our livelihoods.”
She added: “We’ve had stones thrown at our house, our car, and now to top it off we’ve had a brick through the window of our business.”
Margaret said repairs to the couple’s home and car has already cost thousands of pounds.
“When I think about the damage done I’m livid,” she said. “Hopefully next year will be better.”
The police are making inquiries into the incident which is believed to have taken place between 4pm last Saturday and 10pm on Sunday.
Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland on 101.
