Police Scotland have launched a search in the grounds of a Dundee hospital for a serial robber who absconded from Castle Huntly prison William Carlin, who police say should not be approached, was on temporary leave before disappearing. He was last seen near Kings Cross Hospital last Thursday at 9am. Now a police spokesperson has confirmed that officers visited the Clepington Road facility in an attempt to help them track down the criminal. She said: “Police officers searched the area where the absconder was last reported to have been seen. “This was a routine search for a missing person.
