Her parents Philip and Dawn and sisters Jen and Gill were joined by friends and other relatives at the service in Broughty Ferry New Kirk. Following the half-hour service by the Rev Catherine Collins, Katy’s white coffin was driven away for a private interment. Katy was founded dead in a flat in Glasgow’s Minto Street on Wednesday December 30. Twenty-six-year-old Cumbernauld man Gary Stevenson has been charged with the 25-year-old’s murder.
