It’s beer o’clock Oktoberfest tent takes over Dundee City Square

Dundee City Square has been taken over by a giant white marquee ahead of an Oktoberfest event.
The huge tent will be used to accommodate the estimated 8,000 people who will descend upon the city centre over the next few days.
Organisers promise a vibrant celebration of German music, lederhosen, sausage and, of course, Oktoberfest beer.
The public will begin arriving soon the event opens at 4pm and will be happy to know that the vast quantities of alcohol required have already arrived, by special delivery from Germany.
Entry is free today, tomorrow and on Sunday, while entry to Friday and Saturday’s gatherings costs £5 and £10 respectively.
