A house in Broughty Ferry’s Cedar Road was targeted twice in just two days by thieves who made off with trail bikes worth £8,000 and other items.
The Gas Gas 300 TXT Pro 2013 and a KTM 250 SX4 model trail bikes were stolen during the first break-in between 6.30pm on Sunday and 10am on Monday.
The thieves returned overnight and between 9.15pm on Monday and 7am on Tuesday and took a Diamondback stunt bike with hydraulic brakes, a Scott Ascent mountain bike, and four outboard motors.
In a separate incident a house in Mansion Drive in the Claverhouse area was broken into about 1am on Thursday.
Thieves made off with a Dell laptop, an Apple Mac laptop, a Samsung S4 Galaxy smartphone, a 64GB mustard coloured iPod, and two second generation iPads.
Both iPads are engraved on the back, one with ‘Tara’s Fun Station’, the other with ‘Dhruv’s iPad’, and two sets of Dr Dre Beats headphones were also stolen.
Anyone with information can contact police on 101.
