Residents evacuated from their Dundee homes following a major landslide face another night out of their properties.
Gardens behind three tenements in Lochee’s Gardner Street disappeared down a steep hill on Monday afternoon, crashing into the flats on Lochee Road below.
No one was hurt in the incident but residents have not been allowed to return home while emergency work to stabilise the hillside is carried out.Photo gallery:Contractors on scene after Dundee landslideDundee City Council brought in contractor Dundee Plant on Tuesday to demolish the remains of a damaged retaining wall and make the area safe.
The local authority have been working alongside Hillcrest Housing Association and Police Scotland since Monday.
Residents at 179 Lochee Road have been allowed to move back into their homes but those from 175 and 177 Lochee Road and from 2, 4 and 6 Gardner Street faced another night away from home on Wednesday.
Those not staying with friends or family have been found temporary accommodation.
