A Broughty Ferry man and woman have been found guilty of supplying controlled drugs.
William Forbes, 37, and Jenny Whyte, 28, both of Panmure Street, were stopped while driving on Benvie Road, Dundee, in October 2013.
A search revealed 500g of heroin concealed in the vehicle.
Forbes and Whyte were arrested as part of an intelligence-led operation by the Organised Crime and Counter Terrorism Unit.
They appeared at Stirling on Wednesday and are expected to be sentenced at the High Court in Glasgow on April 21.
Detective Inspector Graeme Naysmith said: “Police officers acting on vital intelligence gathered from the public were able to target Forbes and Whyte and evidence their part in supplying drugs to the Tayside area.
“Those who disregard the safety of others and take part in the drug supply chain should realise that Police Scotland will use all means at its disposal to bring them to justice.
“We will continue to target serious organised crime and remove those responsible for the distribution of drugs from our communities.
“I would encourage anyone to report criminal activity in their area by contacting police on 101 or anonymously through the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
