Some Gardner Street households were told they could return to their homes on Friday after their evacuation following the landslide.
People living at numbers four and six Gardner Street were given the green light to return after contractors called in by Dundee City Council checked and reinstated vital services.
As shown in the aerial footage above by local photographer Rockwell Media, Dundee Plant is continuing work to stabilise ground and check services following the wall collapse and landslip in the area earlier this week.
More than 50 households evacuated on Monday were advised to stay away until work is completed.
Dundee City Council’s housing department has provided those residents unable to stay with friends or family with temporary accommodation.
The council is also working closely with Hillcrest Housing Association which has a number of tenants affected by the incident.Photo gallery:Contractors on scene after Dundee landslideGardens and patios disappeared in the landslide on Monday as tons of earth and rubble tumbled down from the rear of tenements in Gardner Street, crashing into flats below on Lochee Road.
Only a gaping hole measuring around 40 metres wide and around nine metrest deep was left at the back of the homes as a retaining wall disappeared, with earth and rubble strewn down around 50 metres of the slope and piling up against the Lochee Road blocks.
No one was injured but residents in Lochee Road properties 175 and 177 are only being allowed brief access to their homes to collect a few essential items.
Those living in 179 Lochee Road have already been allowed to return and it is hoped that more residents may be able to return to their homes early next week.
Anyone with immediate housing needs caused by the incident should contact the council on Dundee 432001.
The line is staffed 24 hours a day seven days a week.
