The woman is said to be in a stable condition and it’s not believed she suffered serious harm. She was a passenger in a Honda Civic vehicle when it was involved in a collision with a Tesco delivery vehicle shortly after 1.30pm. The accident took place at the junction of Claypotts Road and Queen Street. Police Scotland said only “slight injuries” had been reported and that though one casualty had been taken to hospital the step was “precautionary”. A spokesman for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: “We received a 999 call to a road accident at about 1.40pm. “We took a heavily pregnant women in her 30s to Ninewells Hospital. She is in a stable condition.”
