The collision between the white Corsa and the man occurred around 7.30pm on Friday. The driver was uninjured but the 71-year old pedestrian was taken to hospital where he is receiving treatment for a head injury. The southbound carriageway was closed and re-opened at 10.45pm Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.
