Dundee University believes it is operating on the global stage after being placed within Europe’s top 100 universities in a new league table.
The latest edition of the Times Higher Education European University rankings saw Dundee ranked 94th.
Its recognition adds to accolades such as the university being rated best in Scotland for student experience in each of the last six years and being named Scottish University of the Year in the Times/Sunday Times Good University Guide 2016.
Professor Sir Pete Downes, principal and vice-chancellor of Dundee University, said: “This is another positive result and I am particularly pleased to see that our citations and international outlook rank among the best in Europe.
“This is testament to the world- leading research we undertake and the fact we operate on a global stage, welcoming students and staff from well over 100 countries to Dundee and engaging in projects that transform lives all over the world.”
Edinburgh University placed seventh in the list, with St Andrews 35th and Glasgow 38th.
