Efforts are being made to secure a number of new volunteers to work in the community garden at Ninewells Hospital.
Sessions are being held in the garden on Thursday afternoons, between 2 and 4pm, to encourage more people to take part.
Volunteers will have the opportunity to learn new skills, access training and most importantly have fun alongside like-minded individuals.
The garden’s Sarah Griffiths said: “You don’t need to be a gardener as, with a big space to maintain and plans to develop it further, there are numerous things volunteers can do.
“We hope to have educational sessions on all kinds of things and any skills and ideas will be helpful, regardless of your age or ability.”
The community garden is accessible for staff, patients and the local community for exercise, recreation and recuperation and can be found beside the Maggie’s Centre.
Anyone wishing to attend the sessions should email Sarah at facilitator@ninewellsgarden.org.uk, or simply turn up in the garden at 2pm on Thursdays.
