Police, firefighters and paramedics descended on Muirhead after a parking manoeuvre gone wrong ended with a car crashing into a house.
Emergency services attended aproperty on Dalgetty Court after the vehicle struck the home,causing an internal radiator to fall off a wall.
No one was injured and the elderly male driver was checked over at the scene.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue service sent four appliances as well as twospecialist units a heavy rescue unit and a command support unit but they were not needed.
After securing the vehicle, firefighters also checked the structural integrityof the house, which suffered a crackto the exterior wall but was deemed structurally sound.
After establishing his neighbour was uninjured, homeowner Allan Low, 84, was left bemused by the incident.
He said: “We were just sitting having breakfast in the kitchen when I heard a thud.I came through to the living room and noticed the radiator had come off the wall, then I looked out the window and saw my neighbour’s car.
“There is a wee crack in the wall but I think it’s just a small thing that can be fixed.The important thing was that no one was injured.”
Police also attended the scene with road policing officers in attendance as well.
Constable Mike Cargill, of the road policing unit said: “The driver of the car was checked over by the ambulance but he was fine.
“Nobody else was injured. It was a parking manoeuvre gone wrong.The firefighters secured the gassupply as a precaution but we quickly established it wasn’t a serious incident.”
The accident occurred at 10.49am and emergency crews remained on the scene while the vehicle was removed from the garden using a recovery truck.
A spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service added: “We had reports of a car accident where a car had gone into a house.
“At the scene we found one vehicle resting but no one trapped.
“Firefighters secured the vehicle and the house was deemed structurally sound.”
