A group of Travellers appeared in the car park of a Dundee hardware store on Sunday.
Four caravans set up camp beside the B&Q Extra on Kings Cross Road. One man said the group had arrived on Sunday night on their way from Aberdeen to England.
“Our lorry broke down and it’s in Perth getting fixed now,” he said.
A woman from one of the caravans added they hoped to be back on the road on Tuesday or Wednesday.
Groups of Travellers have been setting up camp in and around Dundee for the last few weeks, leading to protests about rubbish they leave behind. Two weeks ago one group moved to Dundee City Council’s official site at Balmuir Wood.
