Police hunt ‘suspicious’ motorist approaching people in Dundee

Police are hunting a suspicious man who has been prowling Dundee’s streets in his car.
Officers were alerted after a string of members of the public contacted Police Scotland after being approached by the man.
He is said to have spoken to a number of individuals in the areas of Buttars Road, Coupar Angus Road, Coldside Road and Hospital Street between Wednesday May 28 and Thursday June 4.
The nature of the comments from the driver of the silver Ford Focus has not been revealed but they were serious enough to warrant a police appeal.
Anyone who any information regarding the man is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or any police officers.
Alternatively information can be passed anonymously via the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
