Corn snakes are a North American species but are popular pets in the UK. The snake was handed in to the Scottish SPCA and is now being looked after at its rescue centre at Petterden. A spokeswoman for the Scottish SPCA said: “The snake is now being looked after at our Angus centre and we are keen to find his owner. “If this is your snake, or you know who he belongs to, please call our centre on 03000 999 999.”
